- 2 c. sifted enriched flour
- 1 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. cocoa
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 2/3 c. Puritan oil
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 c. strong, warm coffee

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Put together flour, sugar, cocoa, salt, baking soda and baking pwdr. Add in Puritan oil and buttermilk. Stir in coffee heated to boiling. (Mix will be quite thin.) Pour into greased and lightly floured 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 min. Cool.
