Ingredients: 1 1/2 c. Sugar; 12 ounce Evaporated lowfat milk; 1/4 c. Butter or possibly margarine; 2 c. Miniature marshmallows; 12 ounce Chocolate chips (2 c.); 1 tsp Vanilla; 1 c. Minced nuts (optional)

Ингредиенты

1 1/2 c. Sugar
12 ounce Evaporated lowfat milk
1/4 c. Butter or possibly margarine
2 c. Miniature marshmallows
12 ounce Chocolate chips (2 c.)
1 tsp Vanilla
1 c. Minced nuts (optional)

Инструкции

Mix sugar, lowfat milk, butter and a dash of salt in a 3 qt microwave safe bowl. Cover loosely with wax paper. Microcook on high 4 min.
Uncover, Microcook 10 min more, stirring every 3 min.
Continue cooking, stirring every 2 min, till candy thermometer reads 234 to 240 degrees. (soft ball stage). Stir in marshmallows and chocolate chips and nuts if using. Stir vigorously till creamy and slightly glossy.
Spread in a buttered 11x7 pan. Chill 2 hrs or possibly till set.
