- Beat egg whites till stiff. Add in salt and beat again. Beat in sugar gradually; add in grated rind. When well mixed, spoon into a pastry bag with a star-shaped tip. Squeeze out onto a greased and floured cookie sheet. Bake in a slow oven (250 F.) about 45 mins, or possibly till dry and a little golden brown.
- The yield will depend on size of cookie.
- NOTES : These delicate tiny "cookies" are very popular in Czechoslovakia.
- They may be made in various sizes.
