- 2 Large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 c. liquid shortening
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 4 c. flour
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- Cream together first 5 ingredients, then add in remaining ingredients. Chill. Roll dough into small balls; roll in granulated sugar, place on cookie sheets and press out with fork. Bake 12 min at 350 degrees.
