- 1 1/2 lbs. grnd round
- 1 lg. onion
- 1 (15 ounce.) can tomato sauce with 2 c. water
- 1 med. jar Ragu meat flavored spaghetti sauce
- 1/4 pkg. French's spaghetti sauce mix, Italian style
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 tbsp. spaghetti sauce seasoning (I use Spice Island brand)
- 3/4 teaspoon grnd fennel
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 1 tbsp. vinegar
- 1 1/2 lbs. grnd chuck
- 1 (32 ounce.) can tomato juice
- 1 1/2 teaspoon garlic pwdr or possibly 4 pressed garlic buds
- 3 bay leaves or possibly 3/4 teaspoon grnd bay leaf

- In a large pot, brown grnd beef with onion. Drain well and add in garlic, fennel, spaghetti sauce seasoning, oregano, spaghetti sauce and mix. Stir. Add in tomato juice, tomato sauce, Ragu and bring to simmering stage; add in vinegar, sugar and bay leaf. Simmer at least 3 hrs, uncovered; the longer it cooks the better. Serve over spaghetti and top with Parmesan cheese.
