- 1 med. cabbage, cut in sm. strips with knife, not shredded
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3/4 c. sugar

- Mix cabbage, onion and 3/4 c. sugar in large container and set aside. (Dutch oven is good, since you'll need a lid.)
- Mix marinade ingredients and bring to a rolling boil. Pour this over the cabbage mix and toss well. Marinate in refrigerator at least eight hrs.
