  1. Prepare and bake a 9 inch pie crust. In large saucepan, combine the pie filling mix, 1/2 c. of the water and egg yolks. Mix till smooth. Add in remaining 2 c. water. Cook over medium heat, about 4 to 5 min, stirring constantly, till mix is thick and bubbly. Remove from heat. Add in butter. Stir till melted. Cover and let cold 5 min. Stir. Pour into baked crust, cover and chill 3 hrs. Top with whipped cream before serving.
