- 1 gal Water
- 1 quart Ketchup
- 1 quart Vinegar, (amber 4% acidity)
- 10 ounce Sugar
- 8 ounce Salt
- 4 ounce Black pepper
- 4 ounce Crushed red pepper
- 1 pch Grnd red pepper, (cayenne)

- Preparation: "Combine all ingredients into a 1.5 gallon stock pot and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Spoon the piping warm dip onto the prepared meat just prior to serving.
