- 1 x onion finely minced
- 1 x carrot finely minced
- 1 stk celery finely minced
- 140 gm lentils soaked
- 875 ml chicken stock
- 1 pch nutmeg
- 1 x bay leaf
- 1 Tbsp. parsley finely minced
- 1 tsp Worcester sauce
- 1 x salt and black pepper

- Method1 Heat butter in pan add in minced bacon onion carTot celery and fry till soft 2 Add in lentils stock and remaining ingredients 3 Bring to the boil cover and simmer for 45 minutes1 hour or possibly till lentils are soft and not gritty 4 Blend till mix is smooth5 Sprinkle with minced parsley6 Serve warm with crunchy French bread
