Рецепт Lemon Meringue Pie
This is one of my husbands favorite pies, he loves it extra tart and flavorful. After any dinner it is the perfect ending.

- 1 Cup water
- 1/2 Cup lemon juice
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 Cup sugar
- 3 Tbs Cornstarch
- 3 Tbs. Flour
- 2 Tbs. Butter
- 2 Tsp. Lemon zest
- 1/3 Cup lemon juice

Separate eggs and place whites in clean bowl

In heavy sauce pan place 1 cup water and 1/2 cup lemon juice
3.
Place sugar, cornstarch and flour into saucepan
4.
Stir over medium heat, until it begins to thicken
5.
Cook 2 minutes

Now to the yolks add lemon zest, butter and lemon juice

Whisk this briskly
8.
Add this mixture to lemon sauce
9.
Add slowly so not to cook the eggs
10.
Cook an additional 2 minutes and pour into a prepared and baked pie crust
11.
Place whites into a bowl and whip with wire attachments, add 1 tsp cream of tartar and 3 Tbs sugar, beat until you have peaks and top your pie
12.
Place into over at 350 for 10 minutes or until golden
