Ингредиенты
- 1 pkt (3-ounce) lime jello
- 1 c. Water, boiling
- 2 tsp Lime rind, grated
- 1/2 c. Lime juice
- 1 x Egg yolk, well beaten
- 1 1/3 c. Sweetened condensed lowfat milk
- 1 tsp Aromatic bitters*
- 1 x Egg white
- 1 dsh Green food coloring, optional
- 1 x Baked 9" pie shell, cooled
Инструкции
- Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add in lime rind and juice. Pour slowly into beaten egg yolk, stirring constantly. Add in condensed lowfat milk and bitters.
- Refrigeratetill slightly thickened. Beat egg white till stiff peaks will form.
- Fold into gelatin mix. Add in food coloring. Pour into pie shell. Refrigeratetill hard-about 3 hrs. Garnish with lime slices or possibly prepared whipped topping, if you like.
- NOTES :*can possibly by found in liquor store. I did not use and pie turned out great without bitters
