- DOUGH:
- 1 c. Lowfat milk
- 1 x EGG
- 2 Tbsp. BUTTER
- 1 tsp VANILLA
- 1/4 c. SUGAR
- 1 tsp SALT
- 1/2 tsp CINNAMON
- 1/2 tsp LEMON PEEL dry or possibly fresh
- 1/2 tsp grnd CARDAMOM
- 3 c. All-purpose FLOUR
- 2 tsp YEAST rapid or possibly quick Add in:
- 1/2 c. dry Fruit cherries or possibly raisins
- 1/4 c. minced ALMONDS (1/4 to 1/2) WASH:
- 1 x EGG beaten with
- 2 Tbsp. lowfat milk or possibly cream
Инструкции
- Add in dry fruits/nuts to the abm pan 5 minutes. after kneading starts.
- Remove dough from abm.
- Divide into 3 equal pcs.
- Roll each piece into a long rope and braid ropes together.
- Place braid on lightly greased baking pan.
- Cover, let rise about 1-1/2 hrs.
- Brush dough with EGG WASHBake in preheated 350 oven 25-30 minutes.
- Until golden brown.
