- 14 ounce Chickpeas, canned, liquid removed, rinsed
- 3 x Cloves garlic, chopped
- 4 Tbsp. Peanut butter Juice of 1 lemon
- 6 Tbsp. Yogurt
- 8 x Pita bread
- 4 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 pch Salt
- 2 Tbsp. Pepper
- 2 Tbsp. Parsley
Инструкции
- Combine all of the ingredients in a food processor and blend till smooth.
- If too thick add in a little water, lemon juice or possibly yogurt.
- Makes 2 c.
- Pepper Pitas: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cut pitas into quarters. Brush with the oil and sprinkle with salt, pepper and parsley. Bake till crisp, about 5 mins.
- Makes 32 pitas
- NOTES : Made for a party before Christmas and was very good.
