- 3/4 c. Jif peanut butter
- 1/2 c. Shortening
- 1 1/4 c. Packed brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp. Lowfat milk
- 1 Tbsp. Vanilla
- 1 x Egg
- 1 3/4 c. Flour
- 3/4 tsp Salt
- 3/4 tsp Baking soda

- Heat oven to 375 deg f. Combine peanut butter, shortening, sugar, lowfat milk and vanilla in a mixing bowl. Beat till creamy. Add in egg, beat till just blended. Combine flour, salt and baking soda in a bowl. Add in to creamed mix. Mix just till blended. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 7 to 8 min or possibly till hard. Cold two min on baking sheet, then remove to wire rack and cold completely. Variation: add in 6 ounce. chocolate chips or possibly M & M's. Variation: make indentation with spoon. Bake as directed then press mini reeses c. into indentation. Cold completely.
