Рецепт Hummus With Tahini

  • 2 c. garbanzo beans (chick peas)
  • 1 c. tahini
  • 1 c. garbanzo cooking water
  • 1 c. freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 x to 4 cloves of garlic
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt Paprika or possibly warm red chili pwdr cumin and extra virgin olive oil

  1. Soak cleaned and sorted garbanzo beans (chick peas) in water to cover overnight. Cook in soaking water till tender. Reserve about 1 1/2 c. of cooking water and 1 c. of beans, drain the beans. Put liquid removed beans in processors or possibly mash with potato masher. Add in tahini and mix well, stir in 1 c. of cooking water, 1 c. lemon juice, garlic and salt. If the hummus seems too thick, slowly add in water till you have the consistency which you like.
  2. Pour into flat bowl, decorate with reserved beans, drizzle with extra virgin olive oil, and sprinkle with cumin and paprika or possibly red chili pwdr. Serve with fresh Pita bread.
