- 1 (3 lb.) rack pork ribs
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1 med. onion, finely minced
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 (15 ounce.) can tomato sauce
- 2/3 c. cider vinegar
- 1/3 c. packed brown sugar
- 2 tbsp. chili pwdr
- 1 tbsp. prepared mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Инструкции
- Heat butter in large skillet over low heat. Add in onion and garlic. Saute/fry till tender. Add in remaining ingredients except ribs and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 min, stirring occasionally.
- Place large piece of aluminum foil over coals beneath grill to catch drippings. Baste meatiest side of ribs with sauce. Place ribs on grill meatiest side down 6 inches above low coals. Baste top side, close hood, cook 20 min, turn and baste. Cook additional 45 min or possibly till done. Basting every 10-15 min with sauce.
