- 1 Tbsp. Butter or possibly margarine or possibly Vegetable oil
- 4 c. Red cabbage -- shredded
- 3 Tbsp. Red wine vinegar
- 1 tsp Sugar Salt and freshly grnd Black pepper

- 1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, heat butter. Stir in cabbage, 2 Tbsp. vinegar, and 3/4 tsp. sugar.
- 2. Cook uncovered over medium heat, stirring occasionally till cabbage is limp but still crisp, 3 to 5 min. Add in more vinegar and sugar to taste.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Microwave Version
- 1. In a medium casserole, heat butter on 100% power for 30 seconds.
- 2. Add in cabbage, 2 Tbsp. vinegar, and 3/4 tsp. sugar and microwave on 100% power 1 to 3 min, stirring after 1 minute. Add in more vinegar and sugar to taste. Season with salt and pepper.
