Ингредиенты
- 1 x Leg of lamb, (approx 1.5-2kg (3-4lb) in weight)
- 3 Tbsp. Clear honey
- 1 Tbsp. Wholegrain mustard
- 1 x Clove garlic, crushed, up to 2
- 1 Tbsp. Freshly minced thyme, up to 2 Salt and freshly grnd black pepper
- 1 sprg fresh thyme to garnish
Инструкции
- 1. Preheat the oven to 190 C/375 F/Gas Mark 5.
- 2. Roast the leg of lamb following instructions on the pack.
- 3. Meanwhile, blend together the honey, mustard, garlic, thyme and seasoning.
- 4. 20 min before the end of the cooking time, spoon over the glaze and continue cooking.
- 5. When cooked, remove the lamb from the roasting tin and keep hot.
- 6. Strain off any excess fat, then place the roasting tin on the hob and simmer for 1-2 min stirring occasionally. Serve the sauce in the roasting tin with the lamb and garnish with fresh thyme.
- NOTES : A delicious roast lamb with a hint of the orient.
