Ингредиенты

  • 1 x Leg of lamb, (approx 1.5-2kg (3-4lb) in weight)
  • 3 Tbsp. Clear honey
  • 1 Tbsp. Wholegrain mustard
  • 1 x Clove garlic, crushed, up to 2
  • 1 Tbsp. Freshly minced thyme, up to 2 Salt and freshly grnd black pepper
  • 1 sprg fresh thyme to garnish

Инструкции

  1. Preheat the oven to 190 C/375 F/Gas Mark 5.
  2. Roast the leg of lamb following instructions on the pack.
  3. Meanwhile, blend together the honey, mustard, garlic, thyme and seasoning.
  4. 20 min before the end of the cooking time, spoon over the glaze and continue cooking.
  5. When cooked, remove the lamb from the roasting tin and keep hot.
  6. Strain off any excess fat, then place the roasting tin on the hob and simmer for 1-2 min stirring occasionally. Serve the sauce in the roasting tin with the lamb and garnish with fresh thyme.
  7. NOTES : A delicious roast lamb with a hint of the orient.
