- 4 c. old-fashioned rolled oats
- 2 c. coarsely-minced nuts
- 1 c. golden brown raisins
- 3/4 c. honey
- 1/2 c. butter or possibly margarine
- 2 tsp grnd cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 dsh salt

- Combine oats, nuts and raisins in a large bowl; mix well and set aside. Combine honey, butter, cinnamon, vanilla and salt in a saucepan; bring to a boil over high heat and boil 1 minute.
- Pour honey mix over oat mix; toss till well blended. Spread on a lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees 20 min or possibly till lightly browned; stir every 5 min. Cold.
- Crumble and store at room temperature in airtight container up to 2 weeks.
- This recipe yields 8 servings.
