- 2 cans corn (1 whole kernel and 1 cream style)
- 3 tbsp. butter
- 1 sm. onion, minced
- 1/2 c. red bell pepper, diced
- 3 tbsp. flour
- 2 to 2 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. half and half
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- Salt and pepper to taste
Инструкции
- In large saucepan heat butter and saute/fry onion and pepper for 5 min. Add in flour and blend to smooth paste. Remove from heat and stir in lowfat milk, water and half and half slowly. Add in corn, salt, pepper and nutmeg. Bring to boil and stir constantly for 5 min.
