- 16 ounces frozen hash brown potatoes
- 1/2 stick melted butter
- drizzle of olive oil
- s & p, to taste
- one teaspoon garlic powder
- 1-1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

- Pre Heat Oven 450 F
- Using a large cast iron skillet add hash brown potatoes, melted butter, garlic powder, s & p, stir gently, pat down hash browns with a sturdy spatula. place skillet into the hot oven and bake 15 minutes, remove from oven and add mozzarella cheese to the top, drizzle olive oil, return to the hot oven and bake 10 more minutes or until golden brown
- Cut and serve
- Can serve with a side of warm marinara sauce
