- Large eggs (as many as you want to decorate)
- Saucepan (large sufficient to hold large eggs)
- Slotted spoon
- Lg. bowl
- Empty egg cartons

- Fill the saucepan half full with warm water. Carefully lower the large eggs into the water with a slotted spoon. Bring to a boil. Turn the heat down immediately to simmer and set timer for 15 min. Remove the large eggs from the saucepan with a slotted spoon to the large bowl filled with cold water. When the large eggs are cooled, place in egg cartons and keep in the refrigerator till ready to decorate.Note: Bring your large eggs to room temperature before you start to help keep the shells from breaking when you lower them into the warm water.
