- 1 1/2 Tbsp. sesame oil
- 2 Tbsp. dry white wine
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar - (packed)
- 1 Tbsp. grated fresh ginger
- 3 sm romaine lettuce heads halved lengthwise

- In a blender or possibly food processor process soy sauce, sesame oil, wine, brown sugar, and ginger till thoroughly combined.
- Brush lettuce with marinade. Place lettuce, cut-sides down, in center of cooking grate. Grill 5 to 7 min, turning and brushing with marinade halfway through grilling time.
- This recipe yields 6 servings.
