A SWEET CRACKER. THESE ARE VERY VERSATILE. THEY CAN BE EATEN PLAIN OR USED IN RECIPES AS WHOLE CRACKERS OR JUST CRUMBS.

  1. IN A MEDIUM BOWL, CREAM TOGETHER THE ORGANIC EARTH BALANCE (SHORTENING) AND ORGANIC BROWN SUGAR.
  2. STIR IN THE VANILLA.
  3. IN A SEPARATE BOWL, COMBINE THE FLOURS, XANTHAN GUM, BAKING POWDER, BAKING SODA, CINNAMON AND SALT.
  4. STIR INTO THE CREAMED MIXTURE ALTERNATELY WITH THE ALMOND MILK.
  5. DIVIDE DOUGH INTO TWO BALLS, COVER AND CHILL DOUGH UNTIL FIRM.
  6. PREHEAT COUNTERTOP OVEN TO 350 DEGREES F.
  7. USE PARCHMENT PAPER ON SMALL COUNTERTOP OVEN PAN.
  8. LIGHTLY FLOUR THE ROUND PIZZA MAKER, CUT EACH DOUGH BALL INTO 4 SMALLER BALLS AND ROLL OUT TO 1/8 INCH THICKNESS.
  9. USE A PIZZA CUTTER TO MARK SMALLER RECTANGLES AND CUT THROUGH INTO RECTANGLES.
  10. USE A FORK TO MARK THE CRACKERS.
  11. PLACE ON THE PARCHMENT PAPER IN PAN.
  12. BAKE FOR 10 TO 12 MINUTES IN THE PREHEATED OVEN. EDGES WILL BE GOLDEN BROWN. REMOVE FROM BAKING PAN TO COOL ON WIRE RACKS.
