- 1 lrg Clove garlic, chopped
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 stk , (1/2 c.) butter, softened
- 1/4 c. Minced fresh chives

- Here's a spread I served on Thanksgiving as a pre-dinner treat to keep the crowd from getting restless smelling the turkey hour after hour....
- In food processor, combine garlic and salt, let sit for 10-15 min. Then add in the goat cheese, butter and chives. Blend till smooth. Stir in the pistachios, garnish with more chives. Serve with crostini, crackers or possibly a sliced baguette. I also served carrot and celery sticks.
