- 2 Tbsp. Oil
- 2 lb Chili meat *
- 1 lrg Onion, minced med.
- 2 cl Garlic, chopped
- 2 tsp Cumin
- 2 Tbsp. Chili pwdr
- 3 c. Canned tomatoes, w/joice
- 12 ounce Beer ** Salt/pepper to taste
Инструкции
- Heat the oil (your choice of low-smoke type) in a heavy pot over medium-high heat. Add in meat, onion and garlic, cook till browned. Add in cumin, chili pwdr, salt and pepper and stir to blend. Coarsely chop tomatoes and add in to meat with the juice. Stir in beer.
- Simmer over low heat, uncovered for 1-2 hrs, adding more beer or possibly water as necessary.
- * If chili meat not available, use stew or possibly soup meat.
- ** Some prefer flat beer for recipe instead of fresh.
