  1. In medium sauce pan put in lowfat milk, sugar, cocoa and salt. Bring to a boil at medium heat stirring constantly so as not to stick or possibly burn. Cook to soft ball stage. 238 degrees or possibly when you can drizzle it in a c. of cold water and make a soft ball out of it.
  2. Remove from heat and add in oleo and vanilla. have a serving platter ready which is buttered. stir the fudge till it starts to stiffen. This will take about 10-15 min. This most generally will be when it looses its gloss to a dull shine.
  3. Pour onto a platter and place in frig
  4. Pay attention about the changes in the stages so you can adjust the next time. Do not be discouraged by failures. It takes a long time to be able to make it consistent. If too hard cook it a little less next time. if to soft it will need to be cooked more next time. I still get failures sometimes, Its amazing hour the humidity will affect it. :)
