Top with ice cream or Redi-Whip.
Ингредиенты
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 5 tbs. cold butter cut in small chunks
- 4 oz. unsweetened chocolate, or other favorite, coarsely chopped
- 3large eggs, plus 1 egg yolk
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 cup nuts optional
Инструкции
- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Prepare crust by poking a few holes in it with the tine of a fork, place in freezer.
- In a 2 qt. pot, combine sugar, salt, and syrup. Stir. When it boils, remove from the heat and stir in butter and chocolate.
- Beat eggs and yolk with vanilla, and add to sugar mix. Combine well. Fold in nuts.
- Bake 35-45 minutes.
- Center will puff up a bit. Test with a toothpick for doneness.
- Cool for a half hour
