- Peppers can be frzn easily and revived for stir-fries, soups, stews, pasta sauces or possibly rice dishes for months to come. When freezing peppers, select crisp, tender, green or possibly bright-red pods. Wash, cut out the stems and remove the seeds. Freeze whole, as halves, strips or possibly diced. Don't blanch. Peppers can be packed into can-or possibly-freeze jars or possibly plastic freezer boxes.
