- 1 pound hamburger
- 1 med. green pepper, minced
- 1 med. onion, minced
- 1 tbsp. chili pwdr
- 2 sm. cans tomato sauce
- 1 can kidney beans, liquid removed
- 1 pkg. corn muffin mix

- Brown meat. Add in other ingredients, except beans and muffin mix. Mix thoroughly. Cook 30 min over low heat, stirring often. Add in beans and remove from heat. In the meantime, make cornmeal muffin batter according to directions. Put batter on top of bean and meat mix in a 9-inch square pan. Bake 30 to 40 min at 425 degrees till top is brown.
