- 1 box Devil's food cake mix
- 2 large eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 T water
- 1/2 c. vegetable shortening
- 1 1/2 c. pecans, minced
- Powdered sugar

- 1. Mix cake mix, large eggs, water and shortening till well blended.2. Stir in pecans.
- 3. Shape into small balls, then roll each ball in powdered sugar.
- 4. Place on greased cookie sheet.
- 5. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 min. Makes about 48 cookies.
