- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg beaten
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. minced nuts
- 2 1/2 c. diced apples
- 2 tbsp. warm water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla

- Cream sugar and butter. Add in egg, then dry ingredients. Add in apples, nuts, water and vanilla. Put in well greased pie plate and bake 45 min in 400 degree oven. Check at 30 min. Serve hot with whipped cream or possibly vanilla ice cream.
