- 5 c. peeled, cored and sliced cooking apples
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. melted butter
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tbsp. cornstarch
- Healthy pinch of salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon

- Put apples in buttered baking dish. Mix next 6 ingredients and pour proportionately over apples. Then mix last 4 ingredients and sprinkle over top of apples. Pour 1 c. boiling water over all. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 min. Great served hot plain, with lowfat milk or possibly ice cream on top.
