%20we%20usually%20watch%20a%20series%20of%20movies%20until%20midnight%20to%20pass%20the%20time.%20We've%20done%20Star%20Wars%20and%20Harry%20Potter%20and%20Ice%20Age%20and%20this%20year%20we%20did%20Spongebob%20Squarepants.%20It%20has%20to%20be%20something%20we%20own%20already%20and%20something%20everybody%20likes.%20Let%20me%20say%20that%20Spongebob%20gets%20funnier%20and%20funnier%20the%20later%20we%20stay%20up.%20Besides%20that,%20we%20always%20drink%20Key%20Lime%20Sodas%20in%20bottles%20and%20eat%20cheesecake.%20I'm%20not%20sure%20where%20this%20started%20but%20it's%20what%20we%20do.%20I%20usually%20make%20a%20regular%20cheesecake%20in%20a%20store%20bought%20crust%20for%20everyone%20else%20and%20just%20leave%20a%20little%20filling%20in%20a%20tupperware%20for%20me%20to%20eat%20by%20itself,%20but%20this%20year%20I%20went%20all%20out%20and%20tried%20a%20graham-cracker%20tasting%20crust%20that%20we%20all%20could%20eat.First,%20I%20added%2020%20of%20these%20ginger%20snaps%20from%20Trader%20Joe's%20that%20my%20friend%20Aimee%20gave%20me%20to%20my%20blender.%20I%20know%20there's%20not%20a%20Trader%20Joe's%20everywhere%20(ahem,%20in%20my%20own%20state,%20nonetheless),%20but%20you%20could%20probably%20use%20the%20Mi-Del%20gluten%20free%20gingersnaps,%20as%20they%20are%20available%20all%20over.%20They%20have%20a%20little%20bit%20stronger%20ginger%20flavor%20than%20the%20Trader%20Joe%20ones,%20so%20you%20might%20want%20to%20use%20fewer%20cookies%20and%20more%20almonds,%20you'll%20just%20have%20to%20play%20with%20it%20and%20see%20what%20you%20like.%20Then%20I%20added%201/2%20cup%20slivered%20almonds%20and%20I%20chopped%20them%20up%20until%20they%20were%20fine%20crumbs.%20I%20added%201/4%20cup%20of%20melted%20butter%20and%20mixed%20it%20all%20together,%20then%20pressed%20it%20into%20my%20pie%20plate.%20I%20added%20my%20no-bake%20cheesecake%20filling%20over%20the%20top%20and%20refrigerated%20it%20for%20about%204%20hours%20before%20we%20sliced%20it.%20Check%20out%20my%20party%20plate!%20The%20good%20thing%20about%20this%20in%20contrast%20to%20some%20of%20the%20other%20crusts%20I've%20made%20before%20is%20that%20this%20needs%20no%20baking,%20no%20extra%20sugar%20or%20flavoring,%20and%20it%20takes%20about%205%20minutes%20to%20put%20together.%20This%20delicious,%20easy%20crust%20will%20double%20for%20any%20graham%20cracker%20crust%20you%20might%20be%20hankering%20for.%20It%20has%20a%20slightly%20tangy,%20nutty%20flavor%20that%20complements%20the%20sweetness%20of%20a%20cheesecake,%20but%20I%20bet%20it%20would%20be%20good%20for%20one%20of%20those%20Jell-O%20pies%20or%20something.%20Hope%20you%20like%20it%20as%20much%20as%20I%20did!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHappy%20eating!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBlog%20Design%20by%20April%20Showers%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
