- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 pound dates, cut up
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 3/4 c. Rice Krispies
- 1/4 pound butter less 1 tbsp.
- 1/2 tbsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tbsp. rum, optional
Инструкции
- Cut up dates, butter; add in sugar and 1 beaten egg. Bring to boil and simmer 8 min stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add in vanilla, rum and Rice Krispies. Stir well and drop from tsp. onto platter of coconut. Cover with coconut. Put date balls on cookie sheet. Cover with wax paper till hard. Put in can to store.
