- 1 1/2 c. finely sliced celery
- 1 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp. light tub margarine spread
- 1 c. defatted chicken broth low sodium
- 1/2 c. finely minced parsley
- 1/2 tsp grnd sage
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1/2 tsp grnd pepper
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 10 ounce seasoned bread stuffing cubes (8cups)
- 8 ounce whole berry cranberry sauce liquified
- 1/2 c. minced walnuts
Инструкции
- In a large pot, simmer celery and onion in margarine and broth till tender. Set aside.
- Add in seasonings and 1/2 c. warm water to celery mix. Stir in bread cubes to celery-onion mix till proportionately moistened.
- In a small saucepan, over low heat, add in 1 Tbs. of water to cranberry sauce and heat till it is a liquid consistency. Drizzle carefully over stuffing. Be careful not to add in too much cranberry sauce because the stuffing can become too sweet.
- Sprinkle with walnuts. Stir to proportionately mix.
- Cover and let sit on low heat for 20 min, stirring occasionally.
