Ingredients: 1 c. Finely minced onions; 1 c. Minced green pepper; 3 Tbsp. Bacon drippings; 6 slc Fried bacon -- crumbled; 3 c. White bread cubes; 1 c. Minced walnuts; 1 1/2 tsp Salt; 1 1/2 tsp Thyme; 1/2 tsp Sage; 6 x Cornish hens; 1/2 c. Melted butter; 1/2 c. White wine; 1 x Clove garlic -- crushed; 1 1/2 tsp Salt; 2 tsp Sage

Ингредиенты

1 c. Finely minced onions
1 c. Minced green pepper
3 Tbsp. Bacon drippings
6 slc Fried bacon -- crumbled
3 c. White bread cubes
1 c. Minced walnuts
1 1/2 tsp Salt
1 1/2 tsp Thyme
1/2 tsp Sage
6 x Cornish hens
1/2 c. Melted butter
1/2 c. White wine
1 x Clove garlic -- crushed
1 1/2 tsp Salt
2 tsp Sage

Инструкции

Saute/fry onion and green pepper in bacon drippings. Add in bacon, bread cubes, walnuts and seasonings. Stuff hens, place in roaster pan. Combine remaining ingredients; pour in roaster around hens. Bake at 4oo degrees for 1 hour; baste occasionally with sauce. Turn off heat and cold hens in sauce for 30 min before serving.
