- 3/4 x Cut egg white
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 1/2 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1/3 c. Shortening
- 3/4 c. Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla
- 2 c. Cake flour

- Here's another recipe given me by Rev. Don Chichester, our pastor. I baked it for special communion services when I served as elder.
- Cream shortening, sugar, salt; add in beaten egg white (not stiff). Beat and add in flour and baking pwdr. Add in vanilla and beat till smooth. Spread thin on greased and floured cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 15 min. Cold before cutting into small pcs.
- Of course, unused bread may be frzn.
- *This makes a sweet, almost cakelike, bread.
