- 3 c. Apple Juice
- 2 c. Sugar
- 4 lrg Sprigs Cinnamon Basil Juice of 1 Lemon Grated Rind of 1 Lemon

- Combine apple juice and sugar in a sauce pan and heat till sugar is just dissolved. Add in cinnamon basil and cover. Let steep 30 min. Strain out basil. Add in lemon juice and rind. Refrigeratethoroughly. Prepare in ice cream maker according to manufacturers instructions or possibly pour in a shallow dish and place in freezer, stirring about every 30 min, till frzn. Recipe makes 4-6 servings.
