- 3 egg whites
- 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 tbsp. cocoa
- 1 tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. finely minced pecans

- Whip egg whites; add in cream of tartar, 1/4 c. sugar (1 Tbsp. at a time). Mix cocoa, cornstarch and remaining 1/4 c. sugar. Fold this into egg whites. Add in pecans. Bake on oiled baking sheets or possibly use non-stick pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 15 min using upper 1/3 of oven.
