.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt%20is%20kind%20of%20appropriate%20that%20I%20used%20this%20cookie%20cutter%20in%20particular%20because%20the%20person%20who%20I%20got%20this%20recipe%20from%20made%20my%20nanny's%20cookie%20recipe%20for%20Taste%20&%20Create%20way%20back%20when%20we%20were%20paired%20together%20July%202008!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EYou%20can%20head%20to%20the%20Taste%20&%20Create%20page%20for%20a%20line%20up%20of%20all%20the%20posts%20for%20the%20month%20by%20December%205th%20and%20while%20you%20are%20there%20you%20can%20see%20what%20Rachel%20made%20from%20my%20blog!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERachel%20found%20the%20recipe%20for%20these%20shortbread%20cookies%20on%20Martha%20Stewart's%20website.%20%20I%20headed%20over%20there%20for%20measurements%20because%20I'm%20not%20good%20at%20converting%20Celsius%20to%20Fahrenheit%20and%20I%20couldn't%20see%20how%20long%20to%20bake%20these%20for%20on%20Rachel's%20blog.%20%20I%20found%20on%20the%20Martha%20website%20she%20said%20to%20bake%20these%20for%2050%20minutes.%20%20I%20really%20believe%20that%20is%20a%20typo!%20%20Maybe%20it%20should%20be%2015%20instead...because%20that%20is%20how%20long%20I%20baked%20mine%20for.%20%20I%20ended%20up%20watching%20the%20cookies%20and%20pulled%20them%20out%20of%20the%20oven%20when%20they%20had%20started%20to%20brown%20and%20felt%20firm%20in%20the%20center%20of%20the%20cookie.%20%20Depending%20on%20how%20big%20you%20make%20your%20cookies%20will%20probably%20depend%20on%20how%20long%20you%20bake%20them,%20however,%20I%20think%20at%2050%20minutes%20they%20would%20probably%20be%20really,%20really%20browned%20;-)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EChocolate%20Dipped%20Shortbread%20Stars%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreheat%20oven%20to%20325%20degrees.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESift%20together%20flour%20and%20salt%20in%20a%20small%20bowl.%20%20In%20a%20larger%20bowl%20cream%20butter%20and%20lime%20zest%20until%20fluffy.%20%20Add%20sugar%20and%20beat%20until%20light%20in%20color%20and%20fluffy.%20%20Add%20flour%20mixture%20and%20beat%20on%20low%20until%20flour%20is%20just%20incorporated%20and%20dough%20sticks%20together.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20is%20where%20you%20can%20vary%20how%20you%20make%20these.%20%20You%20can%20pat%20them%20in%20a%20round%20on%20a%20cookie%20sheet%20so%20you%20can%20cut%20them%20when%20removed%20and%20slightly%20cooled%20from%20the%20oven%20or%20you%20can%20wrap%20the%20dough%20in%20some%20plastic%20wrap,%20flatten%20it%20into%20a%20circle%20and%20refrigerate%20for%20about%20an%20hour.%20%20You%20can%20then%20roll%20the%20dough%20out%20(I%20did%20so%20between%20the%20plastic%20wrap%20so%20it%20wouldn't%20stick)%20and%20then%20cut%20into%20desired%20shapes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBake%20until%20cookies%20start%20to%20brown%20and%20are%20firm%20in%20the%20center.%20%20Time%20will%20vary%20depending%20on%20the%20size%20of%20your%20cookies.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIf%20you%20decide%20to%20dip%20these,%20be%20careful%20-%20they%20are%20very%20fragile.%20%20You%20could%20always%20opt%20to%20drizzle%20them%20with%20chocolate%20instead,%20or%20just%20eat%20them%20plain.%20%20They%20are%20great%20no%20matter%20what%20way%20they%20are%20served.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
