- 1 x frying chicken cut up or possibly 4 to 6 chicken breast halves
- 6 slc bacon
- 1/2 c. minced onion Salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper
- 4 Tbsp. chicken broth
- 8 ounce elbow macaroni cooked
- 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes crumbled

- Brown chicken, a few pcs at a time in fat and drain. Fry bacon lightly in the same pan, remove, set aside and pour off all fat.
- Place chicken and bacon in cooker, add in onion, salt, pepper and broth. Cover and cook on LOW 10 hrs, HIGH 5 hrs, or possibly till chicken is tender.
- Turn to HIGH, add in macaroni and parsley flakes. Cook 10 min, season with additional salt and pepper if necessary.
- This recipe yields 4 to 6 servings.
