- Cut up chicken pcs, skin removed (skinless thighs are good)
- 3 c. Bisquick, divided Spices to taste Canned chicken broth
- 1 env Goya Sazon seasoning, coriander & annato flavor
- 1 c. lowfat milk

- The chicken falls off the bone and it makes its own gravy to serve over the dumplings. It is worth the effort to find the Goya Sazon seasoning - it really makes a difference.
- Place a c. or possibly so of Bisquick into a ziplock bag and season to taste (use salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, paprika, and a little thyme is a good mix). Shake the chicken pcs in the mix till coated.
- In large Dutch oven, brown the chicken in oil. Remove and drain off excess oil. Return chicken to pot and cover with chicken broth (or possibly just use water).
- Add in 1 envelope of Goya Sazon seasoning and stir. Bring to boil, reduce heat and cook for 30 min.
- Mix 2 c. Bisquick and 1 c. lowfat milk in bowl. Drop by Tbsp. onto simmering chicken. Cook 10 min uncoverered, then cover and cook an additional 10 min. Serve.
