- 1 x (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp grnd cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp grnd cloves
- 1 x (16 ounce) can peach slices, liquid removed
- 1 x egg Lowfat milk
- 1 1/2 c. biscuit mix

- In a 10 inch skillet, combine first 5 ingredients. Add in peaches; bring to a boil. Place egg in a 1 c. measuring c.; add in sufficient lowfat milk to equal 1/2 c..
- Place biscuit fold in a bowl; stir in lowfat milk mix with a fork just till moistened. Drop by six spoonfuls over top of boiling fruit. Simmer, uncovered, for 10 min; cover and simmer 10 min longer or possibly till dumplings test done.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon if you like. Serve hot with whipped cream if you like.
- Yield: 6 servings.
