- 4 cups frozen Tater Tots
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 (10 ¾ oz.) can cheddar cheese soup
- 1 medium tomato, chopped
- 1 (2.8 oz.) can French-fried onions, divided
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1/3 cup milk
- ¼ tsp. garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp. ground black pepper

- Preheat oven to 400°.
- Place Tater Tots in an ungreased 13 x 9-inch baking dish. Bake, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
- While Tots are baking, cook ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until no longer pink; drain off grease.
- Stir in soup, tomato, ¾ cup French-fried onions, ½ cup shredded cheese, milk, garlic powder and pepper; heat through, stirring to combine.
- Pour ground beef mixture over Tater Tots. Cover and bake at 400° for 20 minutes.
- Uncover and sprinkle with remaining French-fried onions and shredded cheese. Bake an additional 5-10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
