- 1/3 c. evaporated lowfat milk
- 1 bag caramels (about 50)
- 1/3 c. evaporated lowfat milk
- 1 pkg. (17 1/2 ounce) German chocolate cake mix
- 3/4 c. butter, melted
- 1 c. minced pecans
- 1 c. semi sweet chocolate chips

- In double boiler (or possibly microwave) put together caramels and 1/3 cup lowfat milk and heat. Set aside. Generously grease lightly flour pan. In large bowl put together dry cake mix, butter, 1/3 cup lowfat milk and nuts. Stir by hand till dough sticks together. Press 1/2 dough into pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 6 min. Sprinkle caramel mix and chocolate pcs over baked dough. Crumble reserved dough over caramel mix. Return to oven and bake 15 min more. Chill 30 min to set. Cut into bars.
