- These cookies are so darn good that you can eat about 6 of them before you even say the name of them! :o)
- 1 stick unsalted butter, browned and cooled slightly
- 1/4 cup brown sugar splenda
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1//2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- grey sea salts - a generous pinch - crumbled
- 1-1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup mini M&M's

%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESaturday%20morning%20I%20decided%20to%20play%20around%20a%20little%20and%20experiment%20with%20some%20Splenda%20baking.%20%20I%20also%20wanted%20to%20try%20making%20browned%20butter%20cookies%20because%20I%20am%20addicted%20to%20the%20taste/smell%20of%20brown%20butter.%20%20Several%20other%20bloggers%20have%20already%20gone%20this%20route%20so%20its%20not%20a%20new%20concept%20by%20any%20means%20-%20but%20I%20did%20use%20Splenda%20Brown%20Sugar%20for%20Baking%20in%20the%20recipe%20and%20I%20must%20say%20I%20am%20impressed%20with%20how%20well%20they%20turned%20out.%20%20My%20only%20complaint%20is%20that%20the%20day%20after%20they%20get%20crunchy%20and%20aren't%20soft%20anymore%20-%20fortunately%20this%20recipe%20didn't%20make%20too%20many%20cookies%20-%20so%20its%20a%20great%20cookie%20to%20make%20if%20you%20intend%20to%20eat%20them%20all%20in%20one%20day.%20%20;o)%20(for%20the%20record,%20we%20didn't%20eat%20them%20all%20in%20one%20day%20which%20is%20how%20I%20know%20they%20are%20hard%20on%20the%202nd%20day!)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThese%20were%20so%20easy%20and%20quick%20to%20throw%20together.%20%20The%20toughest%20part%20would%20be%20to%20make%20sure%20your%20butter%20doesn't%20burn%20while%20browning%20it.%20%20They%20scoop%20out%20so%20easy%20and%20don't%20take%20long%20to%20bake.%20%20A%20yummy%20treat%20to%20have%20around%20for%20once%20and%20a%20while!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBrowned%20Butter%20Mini%20M&M%20and%20Pecan%20Cookies%20with%20Grey%20Sea%20Salt%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMix%20browned%20butter%20with%20sugars%20until%20combined.%20%20Add%20egg%20and%20vanilla%20and%20mix%20well.%20%20Mix%20together%20flour,%20baking%20soda,%20baking%20powder%20and%20grey%20sea%20salts.%20%20Stir%20into%20butter/egg%20mixture.%20%20Stir%20in%20m&m's%20and%20chopped%20pecans.%20%20Scoop%20with%20small%20cookie%20scoop%20and%20flatten%20some%20after%20%20placing%20cookie%20on%20baking%20sheet.%20%20Sprinkle%20with%20more%20grey%20sea%20salt%20if%20desired.%20%20Bake%207-8%20minutes%20or%20until%20cookie%20is%20set.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
