- 1 c. Butter
- 1/2 c. Shortening
- 1 box , (16 ounce) brown sugar
- 1/2 c. Sugar
- 5 lrg Large eggs
- 1/2 tsp Baking pwdr
- 3 c. Flour
- 1 c. Lowfat milk
- 2 Tbsp. Vanilla
- 1 c. Pecans, minced

- Cream butter and shortening in a large bowl, gradually add in sugar till light and fluffy. Add in Large eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Combine baking pwdr and flour add in to creamed mix alternately with lowfat milk, beginning and ending with flour and beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla and pecans. Pour into greased and floured 10" tube pan. Bake at 350 1 hour and 10 min or possibly till cake tester comes out clean. Cold in pan 10 min, invert on wire rack to cold completely. Frost with cream cheese frosting.
