- 3 lb well trimmed beef brisket - (to 4)
- 1 Tbsp. cajun seasoning (or possibly warm/spicy seasoned salt)
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 1/2 tsp warm sauce

- Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- Rub surface of brisket with seasoning. Brown in warm cast-iron skillet with vegetable oil spray. Place brisket on rectangle of heavy aluminum foil.
- Combine water and warm sauce and spoon over brisket. Seal foil and place in baking pan. Bake about 30 to 45 min per lb. at 325 degrees or possibly till meat is tender.
- Remove from oven and let stand 15 to 30 min for ease in slicing.
